Hdemy Group unites Accademia Cappiello in Florence and NAD – Nuova Accademia del Design in Verona, forming an educational ecosystem where creativity meets innovation and business collaboration.
“Representing Hdemy Group at Placemaking Week Europe means giving voice to a shared educational mission: preparing new generations of designers and communicators to face the challenges of urban regeneration, sustainability, and social inclusion.”
– Gianpietro Sacchi, Director of NAD and Academic Lead of Hdemy Group
This participation highlights the group’s commitment to design thinking, creative communication, and the training of professionals able to interpret and respond to the transformation of cities and society.

From September 23 to 26, 2025, Reggio Emilia will host more than 700 professionals, urbanists, policymakers, and community leaders from Europe and beyond to discuss the future of historic city centers under the theme “Historic Centers, New Opportunities.”
The session featuring Gianpietro Sacchi will explore:
Spatial storytelling and civic branding as tools to strengthen urban identity;
Retail evolution and wayfinding to create more accessible and vibrant spaces;
Inclusive architecture and intergenerational spaces to foster social cohesion;
Civic participation and co-design as strategies for resilient communities.
By joining Placemaking Week Europe, Hdemy Group aims to:
Connect the academic and professional worlds, bringing design and communication education into the international debate on urban transformation.
Provide inspiration and networking opportunities for students and young professionals of both Cappiello and NAD.
Strengthen its position as a leading Italian education group, promoting innovation, sustainability, and cross-disciplinary learning.
